Professional sports organizations are investing more heavily in recovery infrastructure that goes beyond muscle repair and physical therapy. Military rehabilitation programs are exploring how chronic nervous system activation affects long-term performance and resilience. First responder groups are paying closer attention to the cumulative effects of high-alert environments where the body never fully settles back into recovery mode. Even executive wellness programs, historically filled with surface-level perks, are starting to acknowledge that exhaustion is not always physical.
