MEDX Xelerator has invested in three medtech startups in Israel to boost the positive impact of technology on the medical industry.
FREMONT, CA: The medical technology startup incubator of Israel, MEDX Xelerator, has invested a total of $2.5 million in three new medtech startups that are in their early developmental stage. Through this collective funding, each of the there startups would receive an approximate amount of $800k as funds. MEDX Xelerator aims to take the paradigm of medical technology to the next level, and this investment is more like a boon for the medical tech startups in Israel. Swift Duct, Synchrony Medical, and Dimoveo Medical are the three medtech startups in which MEDX Xelerator has invested.
Swift Duct is a developer of navigational tools for the ERCP procedure. This company aims to minimize the risk of pancreas infections. Swift Duct would use the funds received to transform the ERCP market by coming up with safe, minimally invasive, and simple medical procedures and tools. The proprietary technology of the company helps in reducing the morbidity counts.
Synchrony Medical is a medtech startup that develops a treatment device for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This company would be using the investment made by MEDX Xelerator towards providing as well as improving the quality of respiratory physiotherapy to all COPD patients. Synchrony Medical believes that the secured funds shall surely help the company achieve its goals.
Dimoveo Medical is a medical tech startup that develops internal body cavity disinfection technologies for implants. This company would be using the raised funds to enhance and maximize the protocols for in-body surface cleaning and also ensure the sterilization implants. Dimoveo Medical's proprietary technology uses ultrasound-accelerated nano-particles.
