Drs. Peter C. Stas, CEORevolutionizing remote patient monitoring, Corsano’s wearable device offers both intramural and extramural RPM, enabling hospitals to continuously monitor a patient, create databases of that patient data, and perform AI analysis on all cardiovascular conditions, as well as oncology-related illnesses. Corsano designed the CardioWatch 287 bracelet with an in-built API that directly pairs with the device and syncs the data with third-party applications or healthcare institutions. Priced at 100 to 250 euros, the device is extremely cost-effective.![]()
The CardioWatch 287 stands superior among other wearables because it is medically certified and provides true continuous data, at high resolution

Description
Corsano Health develops, produces and markets medical smart monitoring devices designed to measure vital parameters 24/7 using wireless, non-invasive, and medically certified technology. Its first product, the Corsano CardioWatch is an essential part of a cardiac arrhythmia screening system that can, by providing a simple and effective method for continuous monitoring of the user’s heart rhythm, help identify the risk of a heart attack in an early phase.

THE HAGUE, Netherlands - Corsano Health, announces the addition of Cuffless Blood Pressure measurements to its advanced smart bracelet.
The CardioWatch 287-2 holds an EU-MDR certification as a wireless remote monitoring solution designed for continuous acquisition of physiological data within home and healthcare environments. This encompasses a range of metrics, including heart rate, heart rate variability (R-R interval), respiration rate, activity, sleep patterns, ECG readings, SpO2 levels, body temperature, and blood pressure. The collected data is transmitted wirelessly from the device to a server or health cloud via the associated application or gateway. It is then stored and made accessible for subsequent analysis.
The development of the Corsano Cuffless Non-Invasive Blood Pressure algorithm began in 2019, drawing on arterial line and ABPM data collected from over 500 patients. Validation of the Corsano Blood Pressure algorithm followed ISO 81060-2:2019 guidelines and adhered to the joint statement "A Universal Standard for the Validation of Blood Pressure Measuring Devices" released in 2018 by AAMI, ESH, and ISO. Further validations, including assessments related to long-term use, device positioning, re-calibration, exercise impact, and treatment influence, are presently in progress to ensure alignment with all recommendations from ESH (European Society of Hypertension).
The validation of the Corsano Cuffless Non-Invasive Blood Pressure algorithm by the research team at Reinier de Graaf Hospital will be presented during the European Cardiology Congress scheduled for August 28, 2023.
"Corsano Health's CardioWatch 287-2 enables continuous monitoring of vital signs over extended periods, with un-restricted access to raw data for AI and ML development. This approach allows for early detection of any abnormalities, as it captures fluctuations that may go unnoticed with spot measurements. Continuous monitoring proves especially beneficial for managing chronic conditions like heart disease, where automatic continuous monitoring can significantly improve patient outcomes," says Drs. Peter Stas, CEO of Corsano Health.
