GCX, which has been producing IT monitoring solutions expressly for medical communities for almost 50 years, has just launched its latest fetal monitoring workstation featuring the latest medical technology. This workstation blends Electronic Medical Record hardware with fetal monitoring in a single device. It is designed to improve clinical workflow and also integrate the IT components and accessories together in a secure and effective mobile workstation.
This latest design of healthcare technology has a fully configurable and ergonomic design. The monitoring, accessories, displays and EMR hardware are all integrated into a single system that can support multiple users. The cart has 6 fully extendable drawers, besides which the base has additional space to store a CPU, UPS or isolation transformer.
Colleen Scott, the Product Manager of GCX, said: “The initial feedback we’ve received from customers has been fantastic”, and it is not without reason. The workstation allows for removal or re-positioning of its various components and hardware as necessary. It can also be moved out of the way quickly during emergencies. The multiple options it offers can accommodate both sitting and standing users. Its drawers are long and shallow, making it easier to find items in them, and accessories can be added as necessary to increase storage space or hold more hardware. Advanced cable management features manage and conceal cables, making the cart look clean and professional. The system is also available in several finishes to align it to contemporary room designs.
The workstation is designed to last 10-15 years even with the regular use of harsh hospital disinfectants and cleaning agents and is adaptable to new technologies and applications.
