Atik Cameras’ TE-77 is a new generation advanced imaging solution for high-performance scientific imaging.
Fremont, CA: Scientific cameras will continue to be driven by improved sensitivity, allowing shorter exposure times, lower light intensity, and lower fluorophore concentrations. All of this contributes to more accurate results for research experts. Atik Cameras, a professional designer and manufacturer of scientific and industrial imaging solutions, has introduced the first in a series of advanced imaging solutions based on revolutionary CCD (charged coupled device) technology. The TE-77 sets the way for a new generation of high-performance scientific imaging cameras with exceptional sensitivity.
Over a 12.3 mm2 sensor surface, this amazing CCD sensor boasts big square pixels of 24 m2. This camera produces exceptionally low read noise, allowing detection of the smallest signals, thanks to a consistent cooling delta of -60°C. Furthermore, the 300,000 e- full well depth (600,000 e- summing well) means that there is minimal saturation when imaging, showing outstanding detail. Chemiluminescence, fluorescence, spectroscopy, microscopy, and bioluminescence are the most demanding applications. The TE-77's design and engineering are a perfect match for Teledyne e2v's sophisticated sensor.
The collaborative, customized service offered with each solution is what sets Atik Cameras distinct. The TE-77 can be customized with a variety of features, including a 45mm bi-stable high-speed scientific shutter with 20.0 millisecond opening times. The casing can be customized to meet specific needs or delivered as a simple PCB board set. Atik offers a complete software development kit, as well as experienced integration support from the company's technical staff. Furthermore, Atiks' ISO-9001-certified European manufacturing facilities handle all of the production.
Atik Cameras Director, Dr. Panos Kapetanopoulos comments, “The TE-77 heralds an exciting new chapter for Atik Cameras, as the company builds on its extensive scientific imaging expertise to develop a highly advanced camera series, suitable for the most challenging of applications.”
