One hand piece is dedicated to UVB and the other for UVA applications. The UVA hand piece's connector site is engineered to be expanded to accommodate other wave lengths for subsequent treatment modalities. The hand piece indicates the operating values of the system settings in use. The square aperture hand piece provides an unobstructed view of the treatment area to the operator. Treatment records are stored by patient ID numbers and are printed out at the end of each treatment session for inclusion in the patient's medical file via USB printer. The ergonomically designed touch screen control panel integrated into the base, provides the operator an easy selection of treatment modalities, selection of skin type, and energy delivery options for the clinical treatment parameters selected by the clinical operator. The unit is compact, air cooled, lightweight, extremely quiet, and uses advanced solid-state circuits for maximum operating efficiency and longevity. The small size and light weight provide easy mobility and transportation for multiple site operators. The unit is completely re-designed to provide extended reliability and ease-of-service. Upon start up, self-check program is integrated into the OS to identify any component problems.
